In order to celebrate the opening of our new London office, we’ve invited Anita, our tester with the most experience points in the UK, to tell us about her time testing for Testbirds.
Need help capturing the screen of your PC or mobile device when reporting a bug? Our tester, Rob, is here to save the day!

This month, we have a special post from our tester Pramod, from India. Read on as he tells us a little about himself and his testing experience, and explains the Seven Principles of Software Testing, a set of well-known principles used by the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) to certify software testers.
Hi, I am Pramod L. from India, a nation known as the land of festivals. We enjoy celebrating festivals throughout the year, and I celebrate being a software tester similarly. For every assignment I undertake, I determine why the client is looking at getting their product tested, and enjoy finding defects that bring smiles to their faces. I do not possess any formal qualification in the field of software testing but have been a part of the industry for more than a decade and a half now, and have enjoyed every minute of my journey. Presently, I am working in managerial capacity for a leading Indian IT MNC.
Ever wondered what it takes to become the top tester? Well, now is your chance to find out! We’d like you to meet Zerwikaptur from Germany, currently dominating the Top Birds list with 13.350 experience points. You’ll also find a picture of him in his testing gear: a Testbirds t-shirt we awarded him after he reached 10.000 experience points.
Today, we’re happy to introduce Tatiana from Spain. She joined Testbirds last October and has already participated in several tests in English, Spanish and German. We invited her to our blog to hear her story and to find out what advice she has for new testers.
My name is Tatiana and I’m 23 years old. I’m living in Barcelona since I started to study Modern Languages in the Pompeu Fabra University in 2009. After finishing this degree I began a postgraduate degree in Script Writing. When I finished my studies in June 2014, I moved to Heidelberg, Germany in order to improve my German. I lived there for three months with my girlfriend Lina.
For this month’s tester story, we have invited Alexis from Belgium to share his Testbirds experience. He is one of the most experienced testers in Belgium and was chosen as our Bird of the Month in the Best Bug Finder category this May. We asked him to introduce himself and tell us how he landed in the Testbirds Nest.
It’s time for another story from one of our testers. Meet vema, who was awarded Bird of the Month last July in the category Best Bug Finder. She is German and talks about her background and motivation as a tester. Enjoy!
It’s time for another story from one of our testers. Meet Snowflake81, one of our female testers from Germany who has been among the Top 100 in terms of Experience Points for a long time. This is her story.
The following post is from our Bird Arnout1987. We asked him as a leading bird in the Netherlands to tell us about himself and life as a Testbird tester.
Continue reading
